PROSPECT PICTURES (Production Company) captures the power of content, capital and creativity to bring to film, television and theater audiences the best in original entertainment. Under the guidance of partners Matthew Weaver and Marcos Siega, the company has an active slate of feature projects in development at the major studios including: Stalker: A Love Story at Paramount; the comedy You’re Amazing and the high school musical Time After Time both at Universal; and the football movie Gamebreakers at Fox. In addition, Prospect produces unique independent films through relationships with both established and emerging talent. After producing the 2005 Sundance favorite Pretty Persuasion starring Evan Rachel Wood, Weaver is currently in pre-production on Barry Munday starring Mark Ruffalo and Something Blue starring John Leguizamo and Wilmer Valderama. Weaver, along with Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair and Mark Cuban, just completed production on SURFWISE, an emotional documentary about the Paskowitz family. Surfwise will premiere at this years Toronto International Film Festival.

MATTHEW WEAVER (Producer) If there was something lower than a gopher, then that's how Matthew Weaver started his career at the age of 17 working at Walt Disney Studios. Under the tutelage of studio Chairman and mentor Jeffrey Katzenberg, Matthew spent seven years working on and observing all facets of production on over a hundred films including Down and Out In Beverly Hills, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Dick Tracy and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. His passion for filmmaking set Matthew out to produce films of his own. Ten films later, Matthew has produced such films as Pretty Persuasion, which starred Evan Rachel Wood, Ron Livingston, James Woods and Selma Blair. Directed by Prospect partner, Marcos Siega, the film beat out thousands of entries to be accepted into dramatic competition at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, where it was acquired by by Samuel Goldwyn Films. The critically acclaimed documentary Searching for Debra Winger, directed by Rosanna Arquette featured Jane Fonda, Debra Winger, Whoopi Goldberg, Meg Ryan, Gwyneth Paltrow debuted at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. My Baby’s Daddy, Anthony Anderson and Eddie Griffin, was released by Miramax Films in 2004. Sol Goode, written and directed by Danny Comden, starred Balthazar Getty, Jaime Kennedy, Jared Leto and Comden. In addition, Weaver and Siega produced the television series Rock This House for VH1. Matthew recently completed Surfwise, a documentary directed by Doug Pray (Hype, Scratch), about the infamous family of nomadic surfers. The film is financed by Mark Cuban's HDNET Films and will premiere at this years International Toronto Film Festival. Upcoming projects for Weaver include Stalker: A Love Story for Paramount Pictures, You’re Amazing, a co-production with McG, written by Danny Comden for Universal Pictures, Time After Time (yes an 80's musical) for Universal Pictures and Barry Munday, written and directed by our own Chris D'Arienzo, starring Mark Ruffalo. Other than having grown up with a gay dad, Rock of Ages is Matthew's first experience in live theater.

CARL LEVIN (Producer) Prior to forming Prospect Pictures with director Marcos Siega and producer Matthew Weaver, Carl garnered over 10 years of business, legal experience and overseas finance experience that he has brought to the company. His first stint in Hollywood was that as a talent manager for television and motion picture actors. He was previously employed by Morgan Stanley in New York as a Vice President in their investment banking division where he worked with media and technology clients including Martha Stewart, Barry Diller, Real Networks, eBay, Expedia, Polycom, and Akamai. Carl is currently completing the book for an upcoming stage musical entitled Martha and Me. He most recently produced the 2005 Sundance favorite “Pretty Persuasion” starring Evan Rachel Wood, Ron Livingston, and James Woods.

MARCOS SIEGA (Producer) is a triple threat in video, television and film. He is one of the most nominated directors in MTV Video Music Award history and has directed some of today’s most successful artists including: Blink 182, Papa Roach, Weezer, and System of a Down among others. He has directed episodes of Veronica Mars, Fastlane and Oliver Beane for network television. Marcos, along with Matt, executive produced and was the co-creator of the reality series Rock The House for VH1. This past August marked the release of not one, but two, films directed by Siega: Pretty Persuasion, released by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Roadside Attractions, and the Nick Cannon action comedy, The Underclassman, released by Miramax. Marcos was recently nominated for a 2005 MTV Video Music Award for his directing work on the Weezer video, Beverly Hills. Marcos is currently shooting the feature Chaos Theory staring Ryan Reynolds for Warner Bros. and Castle Rock Pictures.

HILLARY WEAVER (Executive Producer) Producer credits include Pussycat Dolls Live at the Roxy with Christina Applegate, Carmen Electra and special guests Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Charlize Theron and Brittany Murphy, directed by Kristin Hanggi; the world premiere of Margaret, directed by Mark Ruffalo, written by Timothy McNeil at the Hudson Theater; the U.S. Premiere of The Day I Stood Still directed by Oscar winner Milton Justice; Kurt Vonegut's Happy Birthday Wanda June directed by Emmy winner Robert B. Weide (Curb Your Enthusiasm), nominated for 2 LA Weekly awards and Entertainment Today’s Top 10 List for 2001; the world premiere of Crane, Mississippi directed by Kristin Hanggi, Los Angeles Times Critic’s Choice; the world premiere musical Vampire Virgins From Venus at the Hudson Backstage; Christopher Durang's The Marriage of Bette and Boo, honorable mention for best revival and best director from the Backstage West, LA Weekly nomination for best actress and Entertainment Today’s Top 10 List for 2000; Hamlet directed by renowned actress and teacher, Joanne Linville.

JANET BILLIG RICH (Executive Producer) has been a music industry executive for over 15 years. Her first jobs included selling merchandise at clubs around New York City and on national concert tours. She became a publicist and A&R representative at Caroline Records, working with artists such as Primus, White Zombie, Hole and Smashing Pumpkins. Later, she joined Gold Mountain Entertainment, where she managed such artists as Nirvana, Hole, The Breeders, Lisa Loeb and Dinosaur Jr. She left management to become the youngest Senior Executive at Atlantic Records, where she ran the A&R department and worked with artists such as Sugar Ray, Matchbox 20 and Jewel. She later set up her own management and production company, Manage This! Still operating under the Manage This! banner, she has worked on projects as diverse as Down from the Mountain, a touring version of the multi-platinum soundtrack to “Oh Brother Where Art Thou,” a tour and TV show with Gina Gershon called Rocked, a reunion tour and documentary on seminal band The Pixies, production and music supervision of several documentaries for HBO, IFC and VH1.

KRISTIN HANGGI (Director) As a stage director, Ms. Hanggi has developed and directed productions in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. Her most recent theatrical works include the Los Angeles production of Brian Crano’s play The Twelfth Premise that ran at the Lilian Theatre in Hollywood and received outstanding reviews. In 2004 Ms. Hanggi directed the New York premiere of Bare off-Broadway for Dodger Theatrical. This pop-opera was rated the number one production in New York by Zagat audiences in addition to being hailed as one of the top shows not to miss that season. Ms. Hanggi’s previous productions include Bare (2001 Ovation Award Best Musical, LA Weekly Award Best Musical, 2000 Robby Award Best Director, 28 theater award nominations); the Los Angeles Premiere of Terrence McNally’s Corpus Christi (2001 Ticketholder Award, Best Production; 2001 Ticketholder Award, Best Director; 2001 Robby Award, Best Director of a Play); Crane, Mississippi (LA Times Critic’s Choice, Backstage West Critic’s Pick); Greystone (Los Angeles Theater History Project at LATC); Wayside (LA Weekly Pick of the Week) and Pussycat Dolls Live at the Roxy with Christina Applegate, Carmen Electra and special guests Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Murphy, Nikka Costa and Charlize Theron. Kristin had also served in the development of Pussycat Dolls prior to directing it in Los Angeles. Kristin also directed Glen Mary Glen Rose: Women Do Men, a benefit for “Step-Up” and the Revlon/UCLA Breast Cancer Center at UCLA's Royce Hall starring Susan Egan, Amy Brenneman, Teri Garr, Vicki Lawrence, and Jean Smart, among others. Ms. Hanggi graduated with her Masters from USC after receiving her Bachelors from UCLA in Theater. She specializes in the development of new works and has directed several productions in Los Angeles, working with Page 93, Big Dog Little Dog, and Elephant Theater Companies. Kristin is proud to be one of the founding members of God Help! Productions, which recently produced the underground cult-hit Ann E. Wrecksick and the Odyssey of the Bulimic Orphans, which Kristin also directed. She is also attached to direct a feature film musical entitled Operation Prom Dress, which she is developing for Walt Disney Pictures.

CHRIS D'ARIENZO (Writer)
This is Chris' first foray into musical theater book writing. A screenwriter by trade, Chris has written projects for Universal, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and is currently writing a feature for Warner Bros. entitled "La Vida Robot", produced by John Wells (ER, FAR FROM HEAVEN). Chris is also set to make his feature directorial debut this winter with BARRY MUNDAY, starring Mark Ruffalo. As an actor, Chris has made appearances in the film LEVITY, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Holly Hunter, and Morgan Freeman, and has appeared on ABC's ELLEN. Chris is also an accomplished musician and songwriter, and his band Trainwreck (with Kyle Gass of Tenacious D) has completed two US tours and an appearance on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (www.twreck.net). Their CD "trainwreck: live bootleg" (produced by John King of the Dust Brothers) was released last fall on Epic Records.

DAVID GIBBS (Co-Music Director, Music Orchestrations) is musical director for the bi-monthly Largo comedy show Bring the Rock, was a member of Gigolo Aunts, and now performs under the name Kid Lightning. He has written and produced music for film and tv including Mr. Deeds, Josie And The Pussycats, That Thing You Do, Dumb and Dumber, Smallville, One Tree Hill, and many more. He is an Atlanta Braves fanatic, needs to work on his serve, and eats way too much red meat.
